Looks completely plausible to me!
Ok, I'm convinced ........ until I saw the price!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK!!! 
I'd be looking at £ 6 k but it'll be worth it when I stand on the podium to receive my gold medal from some foreign dolly bird. 
I wonder if they do a smaller one for if there are other parts of one's body which need energising
a guy in work with me sells them.
He bought a job lot off the bay and does them at £20 each IIRC.
He "tests" you by making you balance on one leg then pushing your arm down until you fall over, then you put it on and the "test"
is repeated and hey presto, you're better.
But, if you do it with the wristband on first, then take it off, you're better at balancing without it, as your muscles have just warmed up a
bit.
Complete tosh if you ask me, but there are some high profile people getting paid to... wait, sorry, I mean who actually swear by them.
The person felt great as they got 2nd place, not due to some bit of silicone plastic strapped to their wrist.
They make you feel better, as you have something that others dont, and that gives you an edge! (Beyond the edge of reason if yo ask me)
IMHO Snake Oil. I would like to see a set of scientific test results first!
