OT Phone information please!

Hi, my grandson has got a SAMSUNG GT-S5230 phone, which he say's neads a "file" for the camera to work. I have no idea if this is in fact correct, can somebody who is phone wise give me the full SP on this, and is it possable to get a free one, (if needed). As you may have gathered I know next to "F" all about phones, other than you can talk to other people should you need to, :-) Thanks Ray

my daughter has a samsung gts and it didnt require any file to work standard phone features.

Maybe an update will help? Plug it into the pc and have a look at what you need to do to update it. I think (for me) the Orange website got me started..

I know that the phone part works fine, it's just the camera that doesnt!

It might require a memory stick to store the photos to.

Yep, it needs a microSD card (up to 16Gb) to store the pics on
