Does anyone have a legitimate copy of EagleCad and know how to use it?
I have a very simple PCB I need some help designing.... It only has 2 components (plus board).
I need the eaglecad file with all the asociated bits and pieces so I can get the boards manufactured
EagleCAD is free, isn't it? At least, the version they offered for free would do small PCBs. Worth a Google. (update:
EagleCAD - look for the link to 'freeware' )
Alternatively, you could try DesignSpark - also free, not so limited, and backed by Radiospares (amongst
others). Not tried it myself, but anything free is worth a try!
Sadly the company I want to use for manufacture will only accept eaglecad files from a proper "licensed" version of the software....
Dont think they take anything else
Find a new company, there's loads about. Don't know anywhere using a "licensed" version of eaglecad, most use other packages and just have the free version in case a strange requirement comes in.
most pcb companies will accept gerber files and most pcb packages can create them
can the pcb company not do the design if it is 2 componets & board
