Packard Bell laptop help needed!!!
fha772 - 13/2/11 at 06:07 PM

Right then, I'm hoping somebody here knows more about computers than me (not hard I know).
My sister bought my kids, a Packard Bell Easynote TJ65 laptop.
They have been on it today, and managed to lock the touchpad, so we now can't use it, there is a light on above the keyboard to indicate that the touchpad has been disabled.
But, unlike my sister's Packard Bell laptop, there is no button with the same symbol on it, to unlock/lock the touchpad. On hers, you just press the function key and F6, but on this 1, F6 is for Bluetooth.

So, does anyone know, what button locks & unlocks the touch pad on this laptop?

Cheers, Frank.

Plug in a mouse and you should be able to navigate your way to the touchpad settings.

Not a small discreet button below the space bar is it?

I've got one on my Compaq, directly below the "disabled" light and both my lad and myself have pressed it without noticing. It's rather well hidden in the bevelled edge that surrounds the keyboard
