CAD for Mac...

I thought I might try fiddling with CAD...

Can anyone recommend a numpty-edition application for an iMac at sensible money?

However... i have bootcamp on my mac so allows me to run windows with cad software haha

i do the same, bootcamp on my mac book pro... autocad for mac is pretty crap.

If you know anyone is a student you can download both Mac and PC version of Autocad directly from the Autodesk website.

We also have a good PC laptop... what would the enlightened recommend for that?

solidworks, nothing better, will do 2D and 3D and is extremely easy to use...

or if just 2D, autoCAD or for free, projeCAD
