Anybody know why my wifes daffodils dont flower just
loads of green leaves?

They are infact just tall grass plants ?!!??? :p

Give them time, they are only starting to come out in Aberdeen where we have thousands every year

The first year there were loads.
Now there is about 5 flowers and loads of green.

The bulbs are too near the surface or the parent bulb has died off and the replacement has not developed to flowering age yet so is just producing leaves. If you cut the leaves down before they have replenished the bulb they will not flower successfully the following year. Let the leaves start to die down then dig the bulbs up and replant them in freshly dug soil.

+2 and it doesn't harm the little fellas to give them a bit of food after they've finished flowering (now in your case), fish, blood and bone, something slow acting like that

It's because they're leaks

As mentioned can be too near the surface so the flower "seed" in the bulb gets killed off by the frost. Can also be from over-picking, early chopping down of the leaves (or folding them over) or lack of nutrients.
If all else fails they're cheap as chips
