I'm stuck, car wont start, in van, towed him back here, turns out starter is AWOL, has anyone tried getting one off a straight 6 BMW????

i now have a starter in my hand but no skin on them.........

Bloody germans...................

Put it in one of those big squasher things normally found in scrap merchants... they just pop straight off... also best place for a BMW! IMHO!!!

Apparentl there has been a recal of some beemer's.
