OK, I give up. How do I do it? - iTunes
smart51 - 19/3/12 at 06:06 PM

I've just bought an iPad, which seems very nice. I have iTunes on my PC. They're connected via the apple USB lead. How do I download my music library from my PC to the iPad. There are no clues.

File>add file to library, browse, simple.

Or to add an album choose add folder.

I found Apple's online help. I tired all the things on the list and the last one was uninstalling iTunes on my PC and then reinstalling it. That did the trick. Thanks all!

I've been rebuilding my home and ridding it of cr@ppy tech since booting a non functioning domestic couch dweller out.

The apple gear ticks the boxes, looks cool and works fantastically.
If I'm at my girlfriends house any files uploaded sync via cloud wirelessly with out a fuss.
Apples systems boot quickly and don't require 47 updates everytime it's switched on.
I still have a pc and a laptop as works gear is all pc based but it suits me fine to have my stuff separate.
The iPhone works well with the pc as did the iPod and the iPad.
Once the latest os took effect even 3GS flys along.
iTunes is a nanny program and once you get it working on a pc it works well.
Once you get your head round it's workings it does a lot of stuff well.
The pc version does not work as well as the mac version but is still pretty decent performance.

Good luck with the iPad You will soon be wanting more
It's tech that does its job with style even if it comes at a premium.
Like a Porsche or merc you pay for what you get.
It's products have a long lifespan unlike other products.
Good luck it's like owning a smart car love it or leave it.

Thing with Apple is it only has to work with Apple stuff, so they can make it Just Work Well.

With Windows stuff it has to work with Compaq, Acer, Philips, Sony, and the Quai-Jin Cheapo Ram Corp.. So it gets a bit bloated and often farts and hiccups along
