In this months Macro paper there is a Radar detector in the sale for £69.99 + VAT
It says it detects K/super wdeband KA

What does that mean and is it any good or a waste of money. I take it that you get what you pay for.

Which is the best value detector otherwise. There are a great deal of "Safety Vans" in this kneck of the woods and I have already been done recently.

And no comments that you shouldn't be speeding!!! B****cks to that.

Possible Christmas present, don't you know.

I'm not sure how effective to would actually be as most of the new cameras are either laser or infra-red based. I know in my area you dont see many of the old radar based Gatso cameras (the type with the big flash bulb in the bottom corner).
