For the first time in my life I did a bit of marshalling today. I had always been of the opinion that there was no good reason on earth to volunteer to marshall just to let everyone else have a bit of fun.

Well today, I marshalled at a production car trial. See how far you can get up a twisty/grassy hill in your production car.

I had a great time and met some fantastic characters - two of whom are locostbuilders - and of those, one has a very good pedigree in motorsport.

Get out there and marshall - it's great fun...

i agree but be carefull it can take over your life i spent 10 years as a marshal and its very easy to find a good event every weekend to volunteer for.
