I'm with our Belgian friend here. Keyboards (in rock music) make me wince, and you just know that in 5 years time (at best) they will sound
horribly dated, no matter how 'cool' they sound at the time.
Only exception is a good hammond organ or an acoustic piano.

As for the Rolands, I did specify rock music, but IMHO even for dance sounds they do sound very 80s.
The Korg MS20 I confess I know nothing about.
Compared to a guitar though - a Les Paul NEVER sounds dated!!

P.S. My electric guitar's a Yamaha Pacifica.
You know, I have a Keyboard for Midi input, a fretless Jazz for bass and my Brian Moore i91 for electric and acoustic guitars. Everything else is done
in the PC.
I just don't see the need for this much kit for recording any more.

Got to agree with you there. I sold my synths several years back. All I have now is a MIDI keyboard, a decent external audio interface and my laptop,
along with Ableton Live 4 and a few VSTs.
Almost forgot I built a Fatman analog synth at Xmas, absolutely fantastic.

The key advantage to electronic gear is that you can play all night (through headphones) without complaints from neighbors.

Just give me my Strat, a lead and an amp, preferably without too many knobs on!
