I'm looking for some large & wide pnematic plastic wheels (light)
What I have seen is those ones like you get on a wheelbarrow (Black with red centre) but with a Very large ( 18" Dia - tall ) "floatation
Tyre" (about 8" wide).
Do you have a farming outlet place near you. We have one relatively close at Northallerton (Sam Turner) that does all sorts of weird and wonderful
bits and bobs. Worth a try if you have one near you (i dont know correct name - agricultural factors???). Some places that sell tractors and machinery
also do other spares. I wonder if the wheels off a seed sowing attachment (or simlar) are what you need?
Pray tell what you are building???

Some lightweight sailing dinghy's use plastic wheels on their launch trolleys. Laser for instance. Got a yacht chandlers near you?
mind if we ask what you're upto ?
These guys seem to do a very wide range of plastic wheels/tyres, but no mention of 18x8 ones. They may be able to tell you someone who does!

Well I have bought one of these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7153226574&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
and I need to make a launching trolley for going over a pebble beech hench the Big Light wheels
Our lauching trolley doesnt have huge wheels on it, but is fine on the mud where we get our boat in and out. Just run the tyres nearly flat and its
fine.
Have you tried the chandlers? Assuming you have a local one if you live on the coast!
