My new beast
Alez - 30/4/07 at 02:28 PM

Hi All,

I just bought myself a Fury V8 and wanted to share the news with you guys!

It's this monster here:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/133018.htm

(I'm the big guy on the left of the pic.. no, not really )

Some of you will remember it since I asked for a little advice on it a while ago:
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=62089

I went to see the car about 10 days ago and left a deposit with the guy. I was very impressed by the quality of the build and a lot more impressed by the car which is plain mental.

I will collect it this Saturday the 5th, and taking it to Spain in a ferry, I can't wait!

Cheers,

Alex

I've had the little BEC screamer advertised for sale in Spain for a few months with no joy. I put it on sale because I needed the money for the next car.. obviously not anymore so.. I think I'll keep both, the ST Blade is such a pleasure to drive, specially on the track Clutchless upshifts and high revs = big grin anytime!!

Alez,

I really think that you should do us all a favour and stop driving kitcars, I mean you're slowly taking good cars away from this country one by one, and it's just not on!

enjoy

Thanks everyone!!

Akumabito, I wish I could, but I need to bring the car to its new home first

Cadebytiger, I watched it for months too hoping to save enough, then I bought it as sson as I possibly could, I now have absolutely no money whatsoever, no kidding

Ned, not my fault that the interesting cars are aaall British!

Cheers,

Alex

It's a shame the Brits don't appreciate that fact
