Hi guys,

Ive just bought a new car and the clutch is very high.

Does anyone know how I can alter it to make it a bit easier to use?

what car? and is it cable or fluid

its an R reg Polo, so should be cable!

If its the Polo you asked about last night it could have either an adjustable cable or a self adjusting one. If its the later then it'll have a long cylinder on the cable (at the gearbox end) and your clutch is probably almost warn out (sorry). If its adjustable theres an adjuster nut at the gearbox end. Just slacken this off to lower the bite point. But the clutch is probably fairly warn if it needs adjusting (sorry).

yeah it is the one i was talking bout last night, i just went and had a look but its a bit dark now so i'll look tomorrow
