How's the plumbing and leccy going to work?? And do you reckon you can have your flat supercharged for a higher RPM.

Dubia is getting worse been going there for the last 7 years its just 1 big building site now. Last it taken us nearly 2 hours to get 25 miles into
the city centre. Next time staying in the new interconti very central.

I hardly think we should be preaching to the UAE about wastefulness really. The western world are so much more wasteful than the rest of the world.
How much did Wembley Stadium cost?? How much did that stupid Millenium Dome cost?? How many billions a year does our government waste??
I know the Middle East is likely to be pretty well stuffed when their oil runs out - and somehow i doubt the US / UK etc will be quite so desperate to
be best friends with Saudi / UAE etc, so can you really blame them for trying to make the most of their by far the largest natural resource?? If the
UK economy was 90% (guesstimate) based on a single resource - would you like to see our government selling it off cheap to keep the Middle Eastern
economy afloat?? Admittedly its not as simple as that and its not in their best interests to put the Western World into recession but seems we in this
country are all too keen to blame other parts of the world for our problems. Its like us blaming China and India etc with their vastly growing
economies for increasing world polution - when us in the West have been doing it for 200 years.

it is only quite recently that humankind has worked out the harmful effects of industry so ignorance is no longer an excuse.
I daresay you will probalby find that the amount of pollution produced in western europe certainly in the early years is minimal compared to that
currently in India and China = I'm guessing but the current population of those 2 countires is probably 1000 x what the population of the world
was in victorian times.

There is no excuse for it - but the USA are still the biggest polluters and what really annoys me is they do it with this carbon trading (and also
refused to ratify the Kyoto Agreement in favour of looking after their own economic interests). Seems the West though are happy to blame the emerging
economies for the problem though now - seems pretty rich really when the West has much more advanced technology but wont use it all the time on
grounds of cost but yet expect other countries like China to not build their own power stations etc

Anyone been over there recently and seen the Burj Dubai? That thing scared me just looking at it from a mile away, it's just too tall. Looks like
a disaster waiting to happen
