
hi there,what head bolts do you thinks better out of the 2 std sets bolts,as you can get the early type that dos not strech,or the torx type that
streches???
i would love to have the cash to get a 100quid set of arps its just not possable

common engineering practice i'm afraid - really is quite simple, tighten them to spec, run the engine up and tighten through the angle, nothing
to be afraid of - do that when you get to subframe bolts and 6ft torque wrenches.....

all it is i dont really like the way it tells you to tighten them,
last stage 55 flb,then wait and go 90dig,i dont know why thay didnt put a tauqe setting insted,i guess it might have to do with the bolts streching?
I've just refitted my head with Torx bolts that I bought from Gasketsforclassics at £8.50 the set + P&P.
It's a bit scary winding on the final 90 degrees - I was just waiting for one to ping and land me the other side of the garage!

im gona go with the older type,as all of the pinto turbo boys recon arp or the older non strech type,thay say thay are good to clamp down the head to
take 1bar,on a reinz gazket,so il give these a try.
