Just curious really, whats it like to use? Anyone got any good success stories?
try www.uksaabs.co.uk
Seem a helpful bunch
Now I've got my Saab engine running sweetly I will be trying it out sooner or later this year, I've received the hardware from Germany
already but just wanted to get her running before I start soldering on the ECU.
Looks pretty simple all things considered, I'll let you know how it goes if you havn't done it before I get started

Spot on!
Hi, New to this locost world but already a Saab freak.
I take it you are aware of the ecuproject website ?
There are already a stack of usable T5 & T7 BIN files on the website.
I have dabbled with T7 suite, but with the amount of different BINs already on the site, just drop in one that is well used & tested. You will see
who the experts are, Mackan,JZW,Dilemma,Lysmask are all safe to use. They are all very helpful
As I start to look at Locost as a project, my thoughts are toward a solid T5 saab lump, good for 450bhp mated to a vauxhall Omega box.
Nice website.....alistairolsen,go for it!
lol, my project has already taken the volvo 5 cyl route (regrettable in many ways)
I was looking at this because if its not limited, ie you can map anything you like then A) I could build a GT30 saab engined astra mk4 as a track car
and B) you can steal the management for virtually any 4 pot.
There is no way to turn back for a saab motor? its to late?
I could do but it sould feel like admitting defeat lol
The whole project started because of a scrap t5 and I love the 5 pot howl. Just looking into this cos its cool, and I may use it in something in the
future.
