Anyone know the size, I need a new set?
(1.8 blacktop if that makes any difference)

Inlet or Exhaust? You can get M8 exhaust ones off ebay / Burton Power for £1.50 each. Complete sets are listed on Burton... but they ain't cheap!

I need a full set of both, didn't realise they were that expensive!

they are expensive ive been looking recently, but only needed two so not to bad, did wonder price of genuine ones. what i was thinking though why cant you use basic 8mm studs from some where like beardshaws in Rackheath (dont know if be any cheeper though) and locktight them in?

If it's bog standard M8 why can't you just cut some M8 bar to length (this must be a daft question)

technically cant see why not, only thing i can think of what would be different is threaded rod would tighten up on bottom thread in hole rather than shank bit, but if lock tighted in would think ok?

For the inlet manifold wht not just use M8 bolts?

Ive used M8 bolts for both inlet and exhaust. in fact the ford inlet does use bolts.
