I have a problem when trying to switch the gearbox in first gear. It used to work fine until my last trackday. Now I can only engage first gear after I have put it in second gear. Could this be misalignment of the 'switch-to-rear-bolt' on my westie type gearswitch?

Have you checked to see if the saddle is worn?

Sounds like either a clutch clearance issue or a seized needle roller in the gearbox.

I had a similar problem and it was my remote gear extension was loose, if you have one it could be something as simple as that.
