relocation of type 9 gear lever...

does anyone know if there is a kit for moving the gearlever back on type 9 sierra box?

There is that, but I found I got a reasonable position by shifting the engine+gearbox as far to the rear as I could. I ended up with about 2cm space between the bellhousing and the tunnel, and I had to cut out a small cross-piece on the tunnel, but now it clears the dashboard just fine.

Theyr on ebay aswell. Just search locost and theyl come up.

As above though i have put my engine as far back as i can which helps with weight distribution and has placed the gear lever nicely.

I wanted mine further back 6" so made my own, not that difficult, pictures in my gallery.

rich, couldnt see any pics, could you let me know whats needed to make your own, goin to give it a go in a few weeks. dont fancy spendin £50.
