Disabling secondary throttles/chokes on bike tbs

I have a set of Yamaha R6 tbs with vacuum operated secondary throttles ( or are they chokes? ) which I want to disable. I have removed the springs from the vacuum chambers. What is the best way to fix (or replace) the sliding mech and fill the guide slots in which it moves. I am guessing some combination of epoxy adhesive and 'plastic' metal is required.

If you're talking about the slides that come out the side then you can get some sleeve inserts that hold them open.
Can't remember where but I saw them at the same place where I got my AIS port blocking thingys. Maybe have a look on some of the R6 or R1 forums if nobody here knows where.
(I got my stuff a few years ago and my memory is real hazy about where I got it).

Just get some 40mm waste pipe, cut to right length, insert under the diaphragm cap and this will hold the slides open.

Pipe needs squashing slightly out of round to get to fit.

(This works on R1 carbs - I assume R6's are similar?)
