Fuel Filler
RedAvon - 14/4/10 at 01:39 PM

Looking for some help please.

My tank already has fuel in and the pipe is 2 5/8" or 67mm diameter so welding/modding isnt really an option. Cant find anywhere 67mm fuel resistant hose (apart from very heavy duty in long lengths) so I'm think of using the arrangement in this picture from a Cortina.
Does anyone know if this pipe is 67mm internal diameter - or know of any different production cars with the correct diameter that I could source a short length from??

Thanks for the welcome speedy - i've been looking on this site for a few weeks and there are some really helpful people.

I thought Landrover too but I checked on my series3 behind the seat and its arund 50mm - unless there's another pipe higher up near the filler - will try and find out.

cheers

Unfortunately its not a standard Tiger tank - it has UNIGOL or UNIGUL stamped on it - from Oxford - doesnt have a breather pipe either just a 67mm o/d filler pipe.
