Question for all you who have gone there + done that....

got the manifold fitted, obtained the 5" diameter silencer from CBS, which has no fittings on it.

This leaves me with 2 questions for the forum:-

How do I secure the silencer to the car?

and

How do I connect the 2" O/D manifold outlet to the 2" I/D silencer?

There is a slight upward angle on the manifold of about 5 degrees and the connecting link would also have to turn the corner of the bodywork (side panel mid-way angle).


Are the flexible connectors any good or do they restrict flow?

(sorry, that is 3 questions)!!

Awaiting lots of brilliant easy - fit suggestions....

I can swage a stainless connector for you and incorporate any bend angle you want, you can then clamp onto each component using micalor clamps or similar - I would just need to know both pipes OD, alternaively send me the silencer and I will tig any connection you want onto it
