tricky descision between that and K-series..............
Not sure what I would do to be honest!
You've got lots of off the shelf bits with the k-series, from Caterham, but then there's a lot to like about the se too...........
a very good question is my best answer!!
In fact, come to all this, what about the vauxhall 1600XE..................they will go to 250+ on (albeit expensive) off the shelf steel bottom end
parts..................its heavier though............but then its cheaper to build very strong! It also has an off the shelf type 9 bellhousing like
the others (in fact cheaper as its been around for longer! )

yea its certainly different to the crossflow days!!
There are some impressive cars out there, 175hp not to be sniffed at (especially as it will have a LOT more torque spread than yer average bike engine
)
There are a few 1700 cars out there with genuinly over 250hp.........................
