There's no return spring on the carb, hence my mates quick action to cut the power once we'd established that it works.
Now to remove it, stick it on Ebay and then start looking for a 1275 to replace it

After only a short amount of time messing with the old A-Sries in my midget, we managed to get it fired up (using a slightly dodgy wiring method and
getting power from jump leads attached to me mates BMW).
There's no return spring on the carb, hence my mates quick action to cut the power once we'd established that it works.
Now to remove it, stick it on Ebay and then start looking for a 1275 to replace it
