hi iam looking a hose reducer i want a 25 mm pipe with a 17mm t of the 25mm pipe dose any one make these or no were i would get one regards jonny

17mm is an unusual size the standard automotive hose sizes are converted from US inch sizes so you will see them 15mm or 16mm and 19mm or 20mm

The hose fittings sold for Koi carp pomds and irrigation systems work fine in automotive coolings systems.

Be aware some of Koi Carp fittings are sold on outside diameter of the thin wall plastic tubiing used for Kpi carp water systems.

This might be a low cost solution

If the pipe fitting is loose in the hose then a locost trick is stretching a short piece of rubber cut from a bicycle inner over the barb of the hose fitting will help get a good tight fit. You might need to use a 2 or three layers of inner tube rubber to get a snug fit, a dusting of French Chalk (ie Talcum powder) helps get the hose on.

All pond fittings we sell at work are in imperial internal diameters 1/2,3/4, 1, 11/4 and 1.5 inches. This is commonest way for pond stuff in UK. Any of the aquarium pipe work is usually metric. There are adaptors that can convert anything from 1/4 inch up to 11/2 inch and anything inbetween.
