Crossflow core plug size

I`m in the process of replacing a core plug on the rear end (flywhel end) of the engine. It had rusted through so had to be changed. The replacement core plug I have bought appears to be the same size as the old one when put back to back but goes into the hole far too easily. I`ve measured the hole diameter at 1.985" or 50.3mm. Can you get 51mm core plugs does anyone know? I need one just fractionally larger for the tighter fit.

Just found a 51mm core plug on Burtons website for 71p but they want £4.50 to post it

Anybody got a spare 51mm they can do cheaper?

I recall the same pug rotting through on a 1.3 escort van we had with a big valve head twin choke webber and 4-2-1 manifold fixed it with an egg in the cooling system lasted for 6 months then we changed the core plug. They where the day wher you only needed fuel a spark and air to run a motor
