i can only get the camshaft abot 5cm out of the head then it hits something, any ideas?

rockers , fuel pump push rod , cam locating plate ?

Are you taking it out the back ?

Have you pulled the oil seal?

im taking it out of the front, is that the problem? i would have thought the bearings would have been bigger at the front?

rockers, fuel pump, oil seal etc are removed.

i removed the camshaft from the back of the head once i removed the cam pully, thank for the help.
