What Engine Oil should I use for my RV8 ?

My god it's nearly ready to put the sump back on and fill it!!!!

IMHO - Straight 20/50 ordinary old style oil. ie not these flash modern oils.

None of these new fangled synth'd 5/40's they are a bit thin.

I use ordinary 20/50 oil in mine, and its running fine with decent pressure.

yep 20/50 cheap stuff if youve just re built it and i always use a priming tool to get the oil all the way round before first start up as packing the pump with vaseline doesnt always work first time

20/50 turbo diesel oil for me, stop that sludge thats common to them.

You want SJ or above.
