
Just wondering what radiators people are using with the x-flow & pinto engines. I need a new one & was wanting to upgrade it to a bigger,
better more modern one with out spending a fortune on a custom one. Mounting isn't really a problem as can make brakets but the outlets being in
the right place are what I'm wondering about.

Polo (e.g. 1988 1.0) or micra (not sure which one) are the popular choices.
Westfield use the Polo one on their cars.
I use one with a 200hp vauxhall engine and it can sit ticking over for 1/2 hr without needing the fan to kick in.
I used a Polo Rad in my Indy [1.8 CVH]. Lots of people use these as they are cheap, small and effective.

Bought my Polo rad from Sweedish/German cost about £60
Mines a crossflow, I use a Micra 1.0 (old shape) rad. Comes with stat and fan from scrappers - just needs power.
