Before i sent my head back to be fixed,I noticed it had been skimmed. It looks like a fair bit has been removed judging by a photo i have seen from a standard head.does anyone know the reworking limit,What I really need is the minimum overall thickness of the head.(Coscast 2.0l XE).

Can't help with your enquiry but it may be worth ringing a cylinder head specialists? I have always found Head Technique in Telford to be very helpful . No connection, just a satisfied customer.
