FS - 1x raceleda sierra uprights and 1x full raceleda sierra upright kit

Right folks,
I have the following for sale...

1x raceleda sierra uprights. You will need some hubs and appropriate bearings (and a couple of other bolts) to complete this but otherwise includes the uprights, brake caliper brackets, steering rack adapter. £180 ono (+p&p - though would prefer collection as dont get much time to go to post office)

1x full raceleda sierra upright kit. This does include the hubs and bearings but you will need some dust caps (available from Ford). Please note that you cannot use standard sierra discs and calipers with this - see my reply further down.
£320 ono (+p&p - though would prefer collection as dont get much time to go to post office)

Not had chance to take photos but will do at request...

Selling as could do with the cash to buy some other more vital parts for the car at the minute.

Thanks,

mads

mads the hubs are cortina not sierra!

THEY CANNOT BE USED TOGETHER!

so you can't sell it as a kit, you would have to sell the 2 sets of sierra uprights separately and the cortina alloy hubs separately in afraid.

you have u2u. have modified original post to indicate this but i did originally say that the buyer would need to use cortina (or rather M16 as we now know) discs. the reason the sierra ones don't fit is the internal diameter of the sierra discs is about 3mm too large. the cortina ones would fit. i suppose the only other thing would be that you won't use standard sierra calipers (i recall reading something about M16 replacements somewhere on here).

Just found a link confirming the above:
http://www.racedandrallied.com/performance-trackday-cars-for-sale/performance-trackday-car-parts-for-sale/raceleda-sierra-upright-k

quote:

Please note the standard when fitting Raceleda Sierra Uprights you will not be able to use the standard Sierra calipers and discs.

Braking wise you can opt for any standard Ford M16 caliper / disc combination. Check out the Raceleda R16 calipers and discs or opt the complete Raceleda Sierra full front end kit.

I know hi spec do ally hubs for sierra fitment. So raceleda made sierra uprights that don't fit a standard sierra hub? Makes a lot of sense!

i know. one of the other reasons i'm selling as i'd already bought a wilwood brake kit. you can at least use M16s which are widely available.

I always understood them to be copys of there cortina ones, but modified to the same geometry as a sierra one with a mushroom adapter in it (i.e. to suit cars with double wishbones made for sierra uprights)
so none of the bits in these uprigts will actually fit a sierra

no, but then you wouldn't use them in a sierra, rather in a kitcar which uses the sierra geometry so they would fit but as said you would need to use M16 brakes and discs.
