Me too! £30 seems a lot for what it is. Need a modified alternative.
Or get newer engines .....

Scrap yard ?

My local said "dont think ive sold one of them before".

The only differance between the 1.6~1.8~2.0 is Mondeo / escort(orion fiesta) Block is the same size. So is the oil level. Sump makes no odds either.

Mondeo comes up between bores 2~3
Escort comes up around the exhaust near bore 1.
Last of the mondeo's is like the escort but stands of the block 40mm~

Black top is differant. It has the O ring on the tube and not in the block.

Wombat you have u2

Silver top zetec's.

Three escort, three mondeo.

I have three left. One escort, one old mondeo (93~96) one newer mondeo (97}
They all do the same job, it's just where they bolt to the head thats different.

Cheers

The far right one looks quite different, is it similar to the blacktop one?

Top stand's of the block the same, but look at the bottom. Silver top is a plain tube with the o ring fitted in the engine. Black top tube has a crimp to retain it's own o ring.
