Recording from BBC radio online

I want to record onto my PC the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy that's currently on the BBC website listen again.

Putting it on tape doesn't really appeal these days!

Can anybody suggest a free program to allow me to save it. I guess I may have to save it as .WAV and convert to .MP3 at a later date.

Thanks,

James

got something called magix audio cleaning lab from PCworld £29.95 - probably could have got it cheaper somewhere else, but this does it and saves as .wav files - I think it will convert to MP3 aswell

Cheers

I recorded Mark & Lards last show from Radio 1s site. I used Advanced MP3/WMA Recorder, which can record all the sound played through your sound card. Only thing is you'll have to leave your PC well alone to avoid any unwanted sounds. Might still have a copy somewhere.

try windows own sound recorder under the accessories/ entertainment menu. set it to record 'what you hear'.
I recorded Mark and Lards last show with it, another one you have to leave to its own devices, but works well.

I have the HHGTTG Tertiary phase on MP3 (since the first episode was broadcast!). 6 episodes, each about 12MB.

If you use Bit Torrent you should be able to find it on the usual tracker sites, or I can stick it on a CD and mail it or give it to you at Exeter if you'll be there?
