Pat how old is it? Do you know if it deteriorates with age?

from their website:

"TetraBOOST is now supplied in cans which have been tested with the base solution of aromatic hydrocarbons for up to 3 years and have shown no deterioration of can or product. TEL (tetraethyl lead) is, however, susceptible to oxidation in daylight. So cans should be stored in a cool, dark place."

So I think it should be fine. Should be kept out of sunlight in a cool dark place which it has been. The bottles are sealed in with a foil cap underneath the plastic bottletop like you get with brake fluid bottles nowadays.

Bought around 3 years ago and sat on the shelf for ages, however I used the other two bottles from this box (I bought 8) around 6 months ago and they worked fine, didn't experience any knocking! have sold the mini now though so no need for them...

cheers
