nova or next......
I have a thankfully distant relative of 19 years who spent sunday looking at a nice custom Corsa at heathrow this weekend. Rear spolier, alloys, 1.2
litres of pure power the usual bollox. All for just 2,750 for an R reg.
My theory is that lads get these crap wagons as bird pullers.
Possible choices are
A. get a custom Corsa and hope that gets into their undies.
B. Simply state ' I drive an ordinary car cos it gives me more money to spend on the lady in my life. Do you fancy a trip to top shop or Next on
Saturday...... its on me'.
I think (B) is more likely to get you shagged, as would C
(C) pick up a slapper at a bar / pub and ply her with drink.
I recon the corsa is the least effective means........

Can't say I've ever seen one of these jerkoffs in a tricked-out Civic or Focus accompanied by a girl.
Sort of makes one wonder who the real intended audience is!

HEY, I drive a tricked out focus, with the big wheels, body kit, big spoiler, go-fast parts and the loud exaust (it's rather deep not the usual
whiney squeal that you hear on the street) and I do sometimes wear my yankees hat backwards!!!!

I think you're asking the wrong people here mate!
Put this poll on the street corner or outside the local swimming baths and I bet the answer is very different!
Outside our swimming baths the other night was a 14yr old girl... pissed and smoking pot (probably!) pissing right in front of the car. No problem did
she have.... just looked into the car pulled her pants up and carried on expleting to her mates...
Of course there were the obligitory Corsa's and Nova's around...
Now I feel old....

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Hey just because I look like a hooligan and I like to deficate in front of occupied cars doesnt mean that I am a hooligan, I still help old ladies
cross the street (then steal their purses), and hold doors open for ladies (then trip them) I always share my music (by blasting it so loud everyone
can hear it)., and I make sure my neigbors are awake early in the morning (again with the music thing).

im not going to slag off the webmaster
just wait until you are 45 and see if you think you were cool then
the poll isnt anti custom car - im just trying to make a point that cars are not necessarily babe magnets. Looks pretty conclusive - even tho its not
girls voting!
I do have a couple of admisisons to make.
whenI was 16 (in 1975, so the following conviction is 'spent' I had a honda ss50 moped. It had a top box on the back, and I put on it
twin brake lights (battery could hardly cope) and the slogan
SPEED ON TWO WHEELS.
Second confession.
First car I had was bought customised. It was the one I nearly killed myslef in. 1965 (12 years old when I got it) mini. used to be a cooper, but the
engine blew. Someone had put a std 850 in it. also, the front had been damaged so it had a full fibreglass front. sorta all tipped forwars like a
spitfire or herald. I bought it for 100 quid in 1977 and went on to spent twice that on bits. The most noteable thign about the car was the front.
The previous owner hadnt fitted any old front. No. This one looked like a duck billed platypuss. It had a broad spoiler about 9 ins wide at the base
of the front, and swrapped up and over the sides forming integral wheel arches. Matching wide arches at the rear too. all painted nice oranghe peel
black by myself with an electric burgess spray gun.
when I was 18, it was cool.
its total dick when you (if I have) grow up.
a custom nova / corsa / fiesta will be pure cheese in 25 years time.
even if you dont think it is now.
each to their own tho.
I remember people smiling at me on my moped. Laughting at is more likely!

Steve,
A guy I work with has a 19 year old son (who wears his cap bk2ft etc etc/Big wheels/boot full of speakers) and who bought a Corsa 1.8 GTI from a
Local(ish) Vauxhall shop.
That was 5 months/6000miles ago.
Since then it has had 3 gearboxes and been in the shop for 2 months.
That, is all I'm saying!
