Dial-A-Phone

Anyone ever got a moby from Dial-a-phone ?

I'm after a new one and they offer very good deals but the sceptic in me keeps
interfering...... remember the old adage..
"if a deal seems too good to be true...it usually is"

Don't want to use them if people have had probs.

Personal opinion is that, if you want vodafone, you can't go too far wrong with Phones4u. Tend to get a better deal than at the vodafone stores but Singlepoint (the people who will own your account) were sold to Vodafone a year or 2 ago so you've got pretty good service as the backup there.

i got my first phone from dial a phone, years ago.

nowadays, id just take the advert into a carphone warehouse and ask them to price match it - they usually will match any real offer. then you get the good price combined with carphone's service (good IMHO).

i was with them for 2 years, they were fine, until it comes to cancelling your contract - tey keep saying they never recieved a latter, so they will try and bill you for ages later. eventually i sorted it by speaking to the manager, but on the whole, they are good i reckon

bought a phone from them, no problems. once you have the phone just deal direct with the provider, not dial-a-phone. other prob i had is the don't do porting on new contracts (taking number with you) so i had to get a new number when i bought one of their contracts.

Ned.

ps remember some line rental redemptions are a few months down the line with specific claiming dates..

Me and S.W.M.B.O. have had our most recent vodafone contracts off Dial-a-phone. no problems withem at all... yet.

I too was a bit wary, but then I thought F--k it, I'll give them a shot. The only contact you have with them is when you buy the phone at first, and then everything passes over to vodafone for the billing etc etc. Oh, and the money back offers usually require you to send a bill to them to claim for it. For example, when I send them my 6th bill, they will credit my account with £45 i think.

I asked vodafone if they would price match Dial-a-phone, and they couldn't think it was something to do with the cashback via redemption type thing that put them off.

Oh, and if you go with Dialaphone, you can tell them I recommended you, then i get £20! I'll go halves with you (a tenner a piece)!!

Cheers!
Andy
