Woah!

Id love to paint my locost in JPS colours! I just know it would end looking like it needed leopard print seats....

Used to have a JPS scalectrix set - wonder what happened to that.....?

Went to the Lotus day a year before last at their factory.

They had all the old lotus formula cars out and running around the track. Got to love the sound of the old V8 formula 1 cars. Those JPS ones really are something.

Looks like that pic may have been taken on the day, it was really wet then...

Tamya did a really nice kit of that car in Ronnie Peterson or Emmerson Fittipaldi finish. It probably went to the same pace as the Scalectrix set!

Me too and yeah wasn't it wet!

The drivers of the cars were still up for it even though they had traction troubles.

How many Elise's were in the car park???? Common as.

Shame the Elise is blocking the view of that lovely JPS 72. John Player used to get teed off with Lotus as they had agreed the cars should be called John Player Specials, whereas everyone else referred to them as the JPS Lotus and Lotus themselves did nowt to dispel this. I know fags are bad for you and I don't smoke, but baccy advertising has brought about some of the best-looking F1 car liveries ever. Marlboro & Mclaren, JPS & Lotus, Gold Leaf & Team Lotus, Camel & Lotus, Williams & Rothmans etc.
