Made a Test Piece....
Looks OK but the top needs some work to level it off (this is the first time I've been able to look at the car+bulge outside the garage...it was
continually raining when I made the original buck

Not bad for somebody who hasn't played with fibreglass before.....give yourself a pat on the back.
If you made one and say took it from the mould while it was green (still curing) you might be able to place it on the bonnet and either weight it down
around the edges or fix somehow and it might just cure to the contour of the bonnet a little better....worth a go i would say.

Thanks. Rapidly realised it's probably quicker and easier to make a new buck and mould using the experience I've had so far as I will be
able to avoid the big time-consuming mistakes I've made so far...probably make completely new ones, though
