MK Bonnet vent?

looking at adding a vent to my car. The air in the engine bay gets hot and its going straight into the carbs.

After looking about for a nice vent i still think the standard MK looks the best. But do i buy a new bonnet with it fitted or should i just buy the vent and fit it my self???

has anyone here fitted one? how much was it?

Thanks

£130 for a bonnet with bulge
£50 for bulge

They are the current prices quoted on their website inclusive of VAT.

It really depends how much you want to spend and how confident you are at cutting a hole in your bonnet and fitting one. Never having done it, I don't know how difficult it is. Chris Gamlin bought one a while back but I don't know if he's got round to fitting it yet. I'm sure there are a few others who have also fitted one.

cheers boss. i think its best i ring them to see how they suggest fitting it. If its clued on i will buy the whole bonnet, if its screwed on i will do it myself.

i saw they proce list off the website, but its a whole year old so didnt know if it was wrong.

Cheers for the info.
