Wheel box length
I'm half way through fitting my windscreen, Whilst trying to fit the mini wheel boxes the angle the sit at means there isn't enough
length to attach the retaining nut.
Does anyone know which cars had wheel boxes with longer spindles?
Trying to get the car ready for Exeter show in 10 days time

I've tried that, I'm already down to the edge of the wheel box itself contacting the underside of the scuttle.
Cheers anyway Dan.

Got mine from Stafford Vehicle components (SVC) but got the complete assembly so don't know what they were fitted to as standard. Have you got a
local Lucas's? they may be able to help

Hi Dan,
I'm using Morris 1000 wheel boxes with spacers and have had no trouble in fitting the nuts. I'm sure these are readily available from one
of the many Morris specialists. I would imagine the Midget is similar. I had to move the eccentric pin in the wiper motor to reduce throw of the wiper
arms.
I can easily measure the length if you wish
I hope this helps.

It's all sorted now thanks .
A lad at work had a set that were 2.5" instead of mine that were 2.0" fitted lovely.
From the look of it 2CV wiper arms and blades seem to be the next step, well worth a look as there's a breaker only 5 miles away..
Many Thanks Dan.

If the 2CV arm and blades don't fit have a look at an MG Midget, had to shorten the arms but an easy job.
