These would be a good choice but probably wasted on a 1.6 Pinto.
Is there any reason you have opted for the 1.6??

I saw a few 2.0's when i was looking about. They are out there if you look hard enough. Id seriously recommend getting one in now while you are building. Shouldnt be too hard a swap later though as long as any bits you buy are compatible with 2.0.

I've got a 1.6 pinto running Kawasaki ZX7r bike carbs and a v3 megajolt. Choke sizes of the carbs are 38.5mm and 175 main jets. Performance is not bad but having been in another BEC7 I'm now fitting a 2L silvertop Zetec cause its just not fast enough! All of my pinto bits are for sale (previous post in for sale section) and will be available from Feb sometime (apart from the the megajolt as its spoken for)......Give me a bell if your interested or want more info about the carbs etc etc.....always happy to help out...Oli.
