R1 Battery

Hi All

I urgently need to order a new gel battery for my R1 engined single seater (the other one has died while the car's been sitting in a workshop).

Can anybody tell me the output specification for an R1 (cranking current) I'm in work and don't have any of my manuals available.

Regards

Wyn

Thanks Mark

I didn't realise bikes had gel batteries as standard! I'll pop to M&P's later (not far away) - size might be a problem cos it fits in a tight space under my knees.

Mark

Gel battery for an R1 - £30! And half the weight of the previous gel battery! Just need to move a couple of brackets and make a new earth lead - result!

Chers mate!

I am happy!

I agree totally Mark - this site is brilliant for the technical help!

I try and stay from some of the more heated debates! I caused one a few years ago and almost pulled out of the site because of it!
