Quikc-Q Bleeding brakes with the engine off?

I want to bleed my brakes, but I cant run the engine...

The brakes are servo opperated and if I pump the peddle the servo is going to lock out isnt it?

Is it possible to bleed servo assisted brakes without the engine? if so how?

just bleed as any other car. The servo just multiplies the effort on the pedal.

Best advice I ever got was to get a Gunson Power bleeder thing. Connect to a spare tyre and something like 10 PSI, and that will force the fluid through. hours quicker than doing it manually, and a one man job.

IIRC for cars with brake servo you fill the reservoir first, pump the brake pedal a few times until the pedal is hard, this is so the servo is filled, then bleed as usual

Never pump the pedal. Use a steady, slow movement.

For a remote servo perhaps, but with the normal type of servo that sits behind the master cylinder there is no extra place for the fluid to go.
