Grand Day Out

Well, depite what some people say, I enjoyed Donnington.

OK, inside was nothing special, but I was parked on the BEC Owners stand and put a lot of faces to names and met some nice people.

Also managed to buy the last few bits I needed.

And, I even made the MAC#1 open day on the way home and met some more people.

Long day mind!

Pat...

Cheers.

Needs a wash and it now has an ever bigger collection of dead flies.

It's Donington not Donnington

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Well I've just got home, and I have to say enjoyed it!

The show was up to Donington's usual standard (rubbish) But for £5 a night to camp and free entry as a driver good value in my opinion.

Put a few more faces to names including you Pat was good to meet you! Was really impressed with your car its a credit to you!

Cheers Dave................

Thanks Dave.

My car has nearly done 1k miles and 1 track day.

I made it to be driven hard and rarely cleaned.

No doubt the ali will get scratched, dented and battered before long, but so what.

Pat ;-)

Saw you on the M1 Pat, had a look at the car on the BECOC Stand looks really good, didn't get to put a face to your name though, only the quick glance and thumbs up on the M1.

I had a great time!

Especially the free beer and hog roast (I'm afraid I was verry, very drunk...), I agree that the show was smaller than usual, but the track action should be back next year.

I even went in the museum for a bit on saturday.

best free weekend in ages

cheers

Chris
