Carbon mirrors added to www.gtstuning.co.uk

Hi all,

I have updated the www.gtstuning.co.uk site again this time with real carbon fibre mirrors as used on the Benetton F1 car.

Other things updated as well.

Kind regards,

Darren

Very nice, but not exactly cheap at £50 each!

I'd expect a full set including interior for that!

Cheapskate me!

I know they are nor exactly Low cost but they are in comparison to the SPA ones in Demon Tweeks.

They take a lot of making and are exceptionally light.

Kind regards,

Darren

Can you confirm that these meet the area requirements etc for the sva?

If they do I'll be purchasing a set...

thanks,

Ned.

Hi Ned,

I'm not sure what the SVA regulations are can you let me know? I'll check them out. They are very small race car mirrors, so they may be too small for SVA, but, as a friend of mine said yesterday what passes the SVA doesn't have to be what you end up running on the road!

Kind regards,

Darren

any interior mirror must have a reflective surface large enough to accommodate a rectangle 40mm high by 80mm wide

any exterior mirror must have a reflective surface large enough to accommodate a rectangle 40mm high by 70mm wide
and at some point must be 70 mm high, measured parallel to the 40 mm side

They meet the 40x70 and the 40x80 but they dont have any point 70mm tall.

As i have said before though, these are not really the sort of mirrors you put through SVA. You put doggy Metro mirrors on for SVA and change them straight after for the tasty carbon ones!

Kind regards,
Darren
