connecting car warning lights to bike clocks

As above really, is it simply connecting the positve feed wire from the warning lights to the relivent wire in the clocks.

i've wired my indicators and main beam into the bike clocks. it was very easy, if you have the wiring diagram.
but you still need a brake warning light on dash.

Thanks John, its because i still have the dash from when the pinto was in, i'm in the prosses of a refurb.
