They're after receipts for major parts like chassis, engine, suspension etc.
My engine came off Ebay, I just printed off the Ebay page that said I had one the item and now had to pay the sum of £xx.

If you paid by Paypal I think you can pull that info back up on the Paypal site, if not don't think you can

Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

looks like might be stuck.no emails and paid by cash.although think sva says that if you cant prove age of engine it will be tested at latest level.2009?is this the same as 1998?i think poss not?

You can still prove the engine age off its engine number. The Haynes manual for my ZX9 gives a list of engine numbers and what year of manufacture they refer to.
You know what you could do and what I may or may not have done for a couple of things Just get someone to handwrite a receipt for you saying 1 x 1998 Fireblade engine sold as seen.

You have no need to prove engine age as it is post '95 anyway, if no proof is given they simply test to latest CAT procedure

I had to prove the age of mine yesterday at SVA despite claiming it was from 1998?
