What do you need drivers for? you can connect to the hub using a cable or wireless in the usual way.

i would start by connecting the hub via an ethernet cable to the pc. then u will need to know the ip address of the router. which is normally
192.168.1.1 or similar. should be written on the bottom of router or in hand book. type this into IE or any browser. should ask u for a user name and
password, by default this should admin and admin. this should connect u to the routers settings. note the wep key down and make sure wireless
networking is enabled. if all the settings look good. disconnect the ethernet card. reboot pc and search again.

i would also check that the device (wireless card) is listed on ur system correctly. i dont know exactly how w7 shows this, but i guess there is a
control panel?

You need to set up the networking on the PC, and have the settings agree with whats in the Home Hub.
If you are connecting by a Cable, then its just plug in the cable to the network port on the PC and into the hub. Make sure the settings are for
automatically selecting the IP address (and other settings - ie DHCP).
If you are connecting wirelessly, you need to ensure what protocol the Hub is using, and what the password is.
The BT Hub will probably be using WEP or WPA depending. The password is on the sticker on the back of the Home Hub.
Failing that, connect your OLD Pc to the hub. Open Internet explorer, and put
"192.168.1.254" without the "" quotes in the address bar.
Thiat will get you to the hubs management pages. I think that the User / Password are admin and admin (its in the manual anyway).
then go into the wireless section and check the settings and passwords.
Without the correct protocol (WEP/WPA etc) and the correct password at BOTH ends, you will not be able to connect.
ie you need to set up the security correCtly and matching at both ends, ie PC and the Hub (IE set to WPA or WEP in both the PC and the Hub).
It should all work.
A good tip for the wireless connection is to Turn OFF the security settings. Then once you have a working connection, turn the security back on.
Its a bugger to set up a secure connection, when you cant even connect in the first place. As you dont know if its the connection part or the security
part that is failing the connection. Turning off the security removes one hurdle!
Dont forget to turn it back on and set the passwords etc. You DO NOT want to leave an open access to your network.
Consider a passing Wardriver, accessing your network, and downloading kiddy porn or similar.
Its ALL Traceable to YOU, as it was done from your IP address, which is usually recorded by the servers providing this filth.
OK its only a possibility. But the crap that would come your way should that happen would be intolerable. SO ensure you turn your security back on at
the Hub if you disable it to help sle a connection problem.
Personally speaking I would rather use a cabled connection, than trust the airwaves.
Have fun but remain safe.

2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Sounds like you've installed Windows 7 on a new computer and you're trying to connect to a BT home hub (wirelessly).
In which case the only drivers you should need are the one for the wireless card on the new computer...
You didn't enable MAC filtering on the home hub or something like that did you?
