OT......Recomend me a Pub Near M6 J15 / A50
I'm setting off early in the morning with my wife and youngest child (9 weeks old) travelling from Beds up to Ormskirk to pick up new car (bus)
for the wife and expanding family. Can any of you recommed some decent pubs for good food on the way back around J15 of M6 or along A50 (M6 end).

Hi ive got a recommendation for your its not quite on J15 its in a place called meaford (nr stone) which is on the a34 in between stafford (j14) and
stoke (J15) its a nice little country pub we always go here for any family meals and its always been nice with freindly staff.
It has recently changed hands we have been once since and they seemed very helpful.

eta the a34 is a duel carrageway that runs straight from J14 to the A500 then to J15 so is quite easy to get too

Think there's a Hungry Horse (The Racecourse?) about halfway along the A50....failing that, J15 is Stoke so there's bound to be something
around there...

If you exit Jct 15 take the slip to the first roundabout go left, carry on up that road straight over the next roundabout theres a 2 meals for the
price of 1 Pub about half a mile on the left, not haute cuisine but cheap and cheerful. Failing that exit the M6 junction 16 take the A500 take the
A34 turn off at roundabout turn right onto the A34 , 1 mile on the right is an all you can eat Taybarns. You can carry on back down the A500 to the
A50
